I can't find this anywhere, but I was wondering if there was any sort of article that explains the similarities and whatnot between the two duos.

It's an interesting thing to think about.

So yeah. Discuss/share anything you know?! Much appreciated.

Dante and His twin are named after the charachters from the Divine Comedy The Inferno. An awesome 800 year old book. It was way ahead of its time.

A book so awesome you probably never read it seeing as how you totally screwed up the title.

Inferno (not "the") is just the first of three parts (the others being Purgatorio and Paradiso) and isn't part of the main title.

At any rate, there really isn't any similarities besides the names. In the Divine Comedy, Vergil is Dante's muse and guide whereas in the games they're brothers and enemies.

It's close to 700, really.
