If they're smart, they'll drop him and get somebody else. The guy is awful at PR, can't write for ****, and really needs a reality check. This is probably the best it could be said. --- GT: FroznLockz, PSN: SpectreAlpha "Tatakai no naka ni, kotai wo aru." |
SkylightPosted 3/4/2013 2:58:44 AM | saying "they got what they deserved" is such an entitled thing to say. Yes, you should vote with your wallet, and if the "collective wallets" don't add to up to the game being a worthwhile purchase (all sales combined) then yeah, they need to learn from it and move forward.
NT put a ton of work into this and it shows. It's far and away their best game (the other 2 are of no comparison) and even being that it's not nearly to the greatness of 3se, it did have a couple of new ideas, some new mechanics and so on.
I would never say something like "they got what they deserved". These are real people with real jobs and a real passion to pursue gaming quality and to create a very fun product.
there are other, better DMC games in the series, but no NT doesn't deserve to feel like they were complete idiots without a clue to what they were doing, |

SkylightPosted 3/4/2013 3:08:42 AM | it's clear, yes, that some is reused from enslaved. I cant ignore the truth behind that. However, a lot of it was built for this specifically. Hell, they could never seem to make a game where the animations weren't ridiculously janky, at least this time they made animations way more smooth, transitions looking and feeling better and at least got combat down well enough.
Color coded enemies is simply the biggest, most awful mistake they made.
I can't imagine any conversation sounding correct when saying "Color coded enemies is a great idea" |
SkylightPosted 3/4/2013 3:10:44 AM | OH! and yes, Tameem is idiotic. NT needs to not have him, the ONLY thing I'm happy about is that the game didn't sell well so he can reflect on his "I dont give a d*** attitude"
as for the rest if their team? no, they dont deserve to feel like they suck and that they deserve to lose money and possibly jobs. Tameem needs a reality check and to leave NT. |
Ether101Posted 3/4/2013 4:28:07 AM | Every Ninja Theory employee that felt the need to open their mouths made idiotic comments about this game and the franchise. --- Gamers have lost their pride. Complacency can be a sin. |
syctheweilderPosted 3/4/2013 4:32:51 AM | It's not an "entitled" thing to say, that "I think they deserve bad things to happen to them.", It's rude and spiteful, yes, but it lacks a possessive quality that warrants the "entitled" label. |
