Now how many on that list never got a sequel due to unexpectedly low sells or other reasons?
Capcom tends to act like their games don't exist when the sells are low (Dark Void for instance, hyped with a kickass 8bit game and everything but after the sells were poor how much do they talk about it now?) and work'em like a 2 dollar whore if they sell well so I'm honestly not expecting a sequel or Capcom to even bring this game up ever again.
But hell who can really predict what Capcom will do so yeah it's possible.
Ha, this game will never see a sequel with its ABYSMAL sales
Has nothing to do with it.
What should be said has been said - just because there's an open ending doesn't mean there will be a sequel. There is room for the story to go on. The ending of Vergil's Downfall says that, and only that - by no means is it a confirmation. That's all there is to it.
Would it be nice? If you asked me, I'd say hell yeah, but I'm not counting on it until we hear something about the development of something further.
