DMC4 PC Version

Just saw it on Steam. Is it really better than on the console? If so, how good of a computer would you need to play it and cast it?

DmC is actually a good game. Not great, but good.

DMC4 is far and way the best PC port of any game ever made.
It will run 120fps on a toaster. MT Framework is the best game engine of all time. BUY IT.

DMC3:SE's Turbo mode.

Better super costumes for Dante which includes infinite Royal Guard and Disaster Gauge. Nero's is also changed for constant max-acts, though I find that more problematic than fun.

Obscenely good performance.

LDK mode:

Debug menus exist which allow you to set up some interesting moments:

And there's a few mods and costume skins. Most of which are awful, but there's some inspired ones out there.

Get a DS3 hooked up to your PC and it's the best version by miles. Demo here which includes the Turbo Mode toggle in the game options:

Alright, well is the Legendary Dark Knight Mode its own difficulty, or is it a toggle for any difficulty?

And how 'intensive' is it for the PC? If I want to cast it, could I without too many issues?

Own difficulty. Enemies are tuned for lower health so it's a bit of a power trip, though they're still generally aggressive so you can never stay in one place for long. However, I've seen a mod that exists that enables DT and possibly DMD level health values, but I haven't been too bothered to suss it out.

And how would I know if you can run it if you can't be bothered to include any hardware specs on your end? It's like asking me how many fingers you're holding up - I don't know and I'm not going to waste my time guessing.

I think that should be everything you'd need, right?

No, enemy statistics and AI is set to SoS/Hard level, for both grunts and bosses.

You're wrong.

Repeating the first three hits of Nero's Combo A, a SOS normal scarecrow takes 12 hits. Demon Hunter takes 10. Human takes 7. LDK 8. With Mega Scarecrows using RG to cancel after Dante's first swing, it's something like 15-16 on LDK, 26 on SOS so it's not a straight across the board 25% health cut. Aggression may be set to about SoS (That sort of thing's tough to gauge when you have 30 enemies on screen at once), but health is definitely tuned for its own difficulty.

Thanks Retsu, and......thanks I guess Psycho >_>

I guess you're welcome, seeing as I'm the one giving you good info.
