If Devil May Cry 5 had been made and concluded the story of the series...

I don't care about the story in a video game (particularly in an action game). If I want a story, I read a book, watch a movie/TV series, or listen to a story teller.

Seeing as how this is a video game, I care about gameplay. When I want quality fast-paced action, I play DMC3SE or DMC4. It would've been nice to add another game to my rotation, but DmC doesn't measure up.

So, the outcome would've been about the same regardless. Would I have been upset? No. I would've just been disappointed - the same as I am now.

Castlevania never got a proper "ending". But the reboot was loved by everyone.

Castlevania LOS was a crappy reboot and the gameplay was sub-par. The game even dumped some of iconic things about the franchise like the great ost and rpg elements.

Castlevania COD was the best 3-D castlevania , and it should have continued along side the 2-D games in the DS. COD had great game mechanics, ran at 60fps, great ost , bosses , difficulty and had RPG elements , in other words a true casltevania.
