DMC2 made me hate it on my initial playthrough, but getting Trish made the experience so much more palatable. DmC wasn't terrible on my initial playthrough, but hitting SoS sucked any interest I'd ever have in playing the stupid game due to the stupid, miserable high-tier enemies and their weak designs scattered everywhere when it wasn't the even more offensively absurd weapon-immune monsters ruining my day.
So basically, for the first five hours of time I'll spend with DmC, it's better than DMC2 but what very little interest that game can garner drops off ridiculously fast once Tim Phillips flips me the bird and goes riding off into the sunset on his skateboard. DMC2's the better game in the long term.
Boss-wise with exception of the underwater thing Lucia goes up against, the two games are neck and neck.
None of that is true. DMC2's story while lacking was still coherent. Plus, it took Ninja Theory 5 years to get their game out even at it's still a mess. --- Gamers have lost their pride. Complacency can be a sin.
And yet DMC2 wasn't full of glitches like this game.
And yet I had no glitches in 50 hours of DmC so far.
And yet, I had: Enemies going passive on me Teleporting in a wall, needed to reset game D-SSS in one attack (Unless this was INTENTIONAL, which is even more dumb) Camera going apes***. Enemies not spawning (Battlemusic still goes, can't leave area, no enemies on screen, likely spawned inside a building/out of map boundries)
And this was the DEMO... --- Goodbye Bubbles, dearest of pets. I'll miss you, always. 2nd June 2004 - 22nd August 2009 http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l493/TTripweed/Haiguyz.jpg
