sword Illusion

why is it even called sword illusion if it actually does physical damage as seen in the cutscene were vorgil uses it on mundus's eye. isn't summoned swords a better name

last time I checked illusions don't hurt.

is it just another case of changing things just to make it different from the original? or something else

But that's just a silly complaint.

In DMC1 they were called Phantom Swords, and the Swords weren't also lava scorpions.

Kinda like how an amputee could still feel his lost limb.
The word for it is "phantom limb" or "phantom pain".
There is no such thing as a "Quick Time Event done right".
A game that has Quick Time Events is a "video game done wrong".
