1. No, it only has the properties/traits of its material.

2. Only if it's a high-level golem made of something that can logically be repaired.

3. Not exactly. Again, the only traits it can use are those of its material.

4. Depending on how much effort you put into creating a golem, it could be indistinguishable from a natural organism. But that's far beyond your (and anyone in the Order's) current ability.

Is a possessed animal the exact same as a possessed human, just with an animal instead of a human? Or do the animals get other benefits? For example, if a spirit possessed a cat could it talk?

A possessed organism is limited by its own morphology. A possessed dog can't talk... normally. It can try to bark in ways that sound like human speech, however.

Would it be beneficial to add a sigil to the host of a spirit? Or would the spirit be able to automatically do anything with its host that any sigil would allow its host to do without the spirit?

Spirits are generally bound by the limits of their host, so a sigil would help.
