Decline in quality due to outsourcing?

Did Capcom have other outsourced games or are they calling out NT for DmC?

Lost Planet 3 is outsourced. It uses UE3 too.

I think they outsourced lost planet, but that game hasn't come out yet...

I'm sure there's more, they wouldn't so transparently throw Ninja Theory under the bus like that if they could manage a smokescreen in the form of having other developers to scapegoat simultaneously.

Operation Raccoon City

I believe Dead Rising 2 was, but that was a good game and after that massive cliffhanger in Case West I'm sad there won't be DR3. It was soo close to topping RE

Lost Planet 3 hasn't been released, it would not have been a factor to underperforming sales that year.

But yes, they specified outsourced overseas. That would be DmC and Operation Raccoon City though as I believe that ORC fell under the Fiscal Year 2012 report as it was released a week before it, either they're insinuating that ORC was so bad that it hurt RE6's sales or that it's strictly DmC is bunk.

Dead Rising 2 was 2010. It'd have absolutely no bearing on 2012's fiscal reports.

surely there were others?

Only thing recent would be Iron Galaxy's port jobs of Third Strike, Darkstalkers and Marvel Origins, but those were hardly low quality efforts for what they were. If you go back further, MAYBE Bionic Commando, though those were 2008, 2009 and 2011 (Rearmed 2) releases which wouldn't have any bearing on 2012's Fiscal Year.

I think all Iron Galaxy did for those games was the menus and junk. I doubt anyone did anything to the actual games.

ORC actually sold a lot so itd fall into the decline of quality.
DmC would fall into both decline of quality and financial loss.
