All the hate yet DmC is Capcom's #52 highest selling game of all time

That's pretty good that it got that far. I hope this means that DMC will return. After all, Capcom did say how they were going to keep games supposedly in house now and no longer outsourcing.

They say DmC did good sells despite their projected stuff being way to over, and yet RE6 had the same thing and RE6 didn't meet their sales.

Regardless, I called this months ago about DmC still being a hit by the standards of selling a million, (NOT the Capcom projected sales or comparison with previous DMC games) and yet pros flamed me. I'd search for the topic, but it's not that serious.

But I was right. I was right.

Still, I hope DMC5 comes now.

Well let's say it did sell well Justin Beiber and Twilight sell pretty good too but alot of people still hate them so what's your point? That people should automatically love stuff that sells well?
I didn't know sheep could type what with the hooves and all.

But in reality it's #52th? Really? Is that actually s'pose to be good?

In the home video game market, sales of more than one million units is the generally accepted standard for a major hit.

Ah, I would think some people here might not agree though.

Wow a lot of trolls here are quiet, where are all the 'Donte' threads? I'm happy for NT and am anticipating the sequel.

I would agree with this if it still wasn't the lowest selling DMC in the entire series.

Take CoD for example, they generally sale I dunno 10 million copies or some crap right?
Well do you think Activision would consider Ghosts a success if it only sales 5 million and they've been working on a budget where they expect twice that?

Success seems dependent on the game imo.
I'm working on a scrolling shooter for the iOS market now. Considering I'm doing everything completely by myself, if it got a million downloads I'd feel like Tony Stark or some s*** but that's mainly because I'm working on basically a budget of $0 dollars.

I'm not discussing "Success" or "Failure"... I'm just saying "Major Hit".
