For that matter, why wasn't there anything for Donte?

I have to say, that argument in the previous topic really weighed it down.

I agree, that feature was interesting in DMC 1...

However, with Dante now being the Legendary Dark Knight Dante, I guess it's impossible killing him. I mean, Dante wasn't killed by Alastor, he wasn't killed when Trish impaled him in DMC 1...

Just look at DMC 4. There is no way Dante can be killed this time, thus meaning they didn't care about that.

I could see DmC 2 having that feature, though...I can't wait! XD

Haven't you had your fill of talking about DmC2 already?

To be honest, with Dante being how he is now, a lot of those deaths looked like they wouldn't even phase him.

Still, it was cool. Obviously a Resident Evil trait that remained.

My guess - Development time that went towards something a lot of users may never actually see that could be better spent elsewhere. I know I've never seen anything but the shadow blowing up Dante.

As to why DmC can't be bothered, man those guys didn't seem to implement anything that wasn't immediately apparent within a single playthrough of those games.

Come on, you know you'd like to see Dante scream in terror.
