Looks like people like one regretting current state of DMC franchise after failed reboot. So apparently "strong support" is nothing but a Sven's hoax, which he luckily dearly payed for. Guess it means spirit of weeaboos is still strong, huh?

Ono-san is one of the few good guys left at Capcom. I feel quite sorry for him when he took a bit of a bad turn - due to him working himself into the ground - tried to ask for time off and they told him no.

fans have the power to move Capcom - not producers

Ono is the only person left at Capcom with a modicum of reason to understand that giving fans what they want makes money and not blaming them for their failures and asinine business practices, like gauging interest by using overpriced ports instead of releasing new material.

Ono is handling the Sf4 ultra update really. Hopefully that is a good turn for capcom, as the trailer shows "delivered the way you wanted it".

you know it was him and him alone who brought Street Fighter back? He was trying to get Capcom onside with the project but from day one they were 'It's a dead franchise. It doesn't make any money. We have series that make money like Resident Evil and Onimusha. Why bother with a dead franchise?'" Now look at it.

He's the one trying to get Darkstalkers back too. Has been for nearly a decade. Gotta admire his dedication.

He convinced Inafune to do it.

It's nice to see that somebody from Capcom still cares about games.

Yea I've heard, hopefully he - and the rest of us - realises this dream and puts Dante (and I guess Vergil too) into Darkstalkers 4 because they would fit right in there no problem.

It might be better to describe Street Fighter 4 as the crystallisation of all of my tears, blood and effort. I'd call that passion and so yes, Street Fighter is my passion. That's all I'd say

Hah, Dante and Dimitri are one of the best Cross Zone pair ups really. They're hilarious together. Seeing Dante and Vergil in Darkstalkers would make it a day one buy.
