So far, there hasn't really been any concrete evidence on whether DmC sold one million units or not. Me personally, I don't think DmC sold very well because before the game was even released, there was a headline that said, "Capcom HAPPY to Prove Fans Wrong." Capcom was rather full of themselves before DmC was even released. If DmC really had sold well, we'd never hear the end of it from Capcom. But they've been rather silent about DmC for awhile now.

Indeed. Plus their report stating that their recent plummeting in game quality and sales had a lot to do with their shopping titles out to subpar third-party devs, like a certain British studio headed by Tam Tam, was particularly damning.
