Deus Ex is holding top spot for me still...BUT.. I play DmC on PC but that board is dead.... Originally played on the 360 and I think the developers did an AMAZING job porting it over. It is very well optimized, runs very very smoothly on highest settings for me.
But I've dropped out of gaming recently as I usually do when life gets busy and I no longer have time to play all the new games (still need to play Conviction in order to start Blacklist)
But I digress... this game is so simple, fun, and yet DEEP. So much content... hell I haven't beat the game yet, I was about to but I didn't want it to end so I started replaying levels to get the secrets/keys/lost souls. OMG The replayability/ng+ whatever is soo well suited for this game. I love it.
And I think once I beat the game there are even MORE modes to play? NOT TO EVEN MENTION DLC!
anyone else in agreement or do you think this is merely infatuation with a fairly decent reboot? I've just started playing the DMC HD Collection so I can't relate to anyone that takes issue with the direction the series has taken.... --- i5 3570k / Gigabyte 7970 WF3 3GB / 8GB DDR3 / 120GB SSD
I would't call it a decent reboot. "Horrible mutilation of a well beloved franchise in ways that Michael Bay can only dream of" is a much better description.
Finish the HD collection. Then you'll see why this is very *NOT* deep and has little to no content. Most of it is horribly repetitive, and just throwing more colour coded elites at you is no substitute for actual challenge. --- Goodbye Bubbles, dearest of pets.
