DmC and other Capcom titles have failed Capcom's sales expectations

I used to love you Capcom.

You know, this reminds me of a Guns n Roses song...

I used to love her...
But I had to kill her...

Well, they are having financial problems and are going DLC-heavy to fix them. So, there's that.

Hey, THQ are cool people.

"Yo Team Ninja, I think our company is going down, let's find some way to let you have the rights to the IP you've been developing!"

Can you see Capcom doing that?

THQ was a cool company that had the unfortunate luck to bet on the wrong type of gaming media.

Capcom is full of idiots and somehow remain afloat.

Here is the thing.

Mighty no. 9 is getting a huge positive reaction from us gamers. If Capcom is smart enough, they would make a real Megaman game or a Megaman X/Zero game and focus on that. Why can't they focus on that first? I

They lost their chance at making a new MM game. Now we have Keiji Inafune making a new one under a new name and design.

ALL HEIL KEIJI INAFUNE

"I regret to say that, up to now, we had few plans for the full-scale implementation of DLC," he said. "From here on out, we need to focus on the long-term provision of content starting at the earliest stages of development."

Translation: "Right from the very start of production we're already gonna put thought into what we can add LATER and charge money for separately."

Well, they certainly did review their DLC practices.
They're just not changing them.

I'm being honest, the only games coming from Capcom that I'm curious to play, are Strider and Sengoku Basara 4.

Unfortunately, Capcom isn't what it used to be anymore. However, we must consider that Capcom is basically just a name, We should talk about who works there and who makes the games. Several good people left the company, which means nothing will be the same.

Regarding DLC, they're dead wrong again. That's what is gonna damage them seriously. They aren't even able to play safe anymore. I mean, just give a look at Koei. They milk Dynasty Warriors as hell, but at least they're delicious and fun to play, with a high replay factor.

Damn, they were even smart enough to create Samurai Warriors and Warriors Orochi just to keep DW fresh. Capcom tried to outsmart them by making Devil Kings ( Sengoku Basara), but Koei is still the winner regarding that kind of game.

That's not to say Capcom lost its mojo 100%, BUT I don't see major relases in the future. They need to change hard if they want to survive for the next generations. I really want to see my daughter playing Resident Evil 15. XD
