So... assuming you had full control over its creation, what's your ideal DMC5?

It's funny when you look for an argument that doesn't exist in his statement.

It's almost moe.

Alright... Welcome in, pal!

The dire consequences of winning a war: having to accept the late turncoats.

2. Bring back DMC3's weapon changing or add one that is similar to Bayonetta.

I like the everyone has everything eternally design philosophy when it comes to both character movelists and designing enemies around that expectation. It means weapons can take greater risks in their design, have much more defined roles and they can be much better balanced and refined around one another to make a skill set that compliments one another beautifully compared to something where a player's expected to be able to equip any two of five weapons.

I mean it worked so well for Vergil, amirite?

3. Pull a RE6 *grab flame shied* and the characters scenarios connect with each other in some way.

RE6 was annoying because the game kept on spoiling nearly all of their plot twists due to the nature of all those interconnected story lines and repeating content was not enjoyable. Wandering around the world and seeing the impact of Dante or Nero on a landscape with lots of terrain scarring in rooms they beat you to, or seeing the other guy fighting something waaaaay off in another court yard to tease the content you'll see and give context to the timeline of the other guy's story relative to Nero's?

Rad.

Anything more than that and a very, very subtle connecting thread to events on both sides? Ehhhhhh. Save it for an epilogue chapter.

4. Dante, Nero, Trish, and Lady are playable and players can choose each character to start out with. Also give them 15 to 20 missions each like DMC2. Each character should have their own style(s) like Trish using magic-based attacks and Lady having roided out version of Gunslinger.

Yeeeah. RE6 makes me hesitant to ask for anything more than 27 missions across two main characters with maybe 1 unlockable like DMC2. When Capcom spreads themselves too thin, it's never a good time and the DMC games tend to have a really tough time maintaining the same momentum when you get like... 14 missions into them once the stakes get high. If I could have that tight, amazing Mission 1-13 experience from DMC1, 3 and 4 stretched out across two different characters without that third act lull bogging things down, I'd be moooooore than happy.

7. Make the Order more of a threat by giving them "artificial" Devil Arms, new helper demons (many of them being upgraded versions of the ones from DMC4 like the gold and white knights and the basilisks), and the ability to use spells based on researching on the Savior's cores/jewels that Dante destroyed and other remains.

Ditch the Order as a primary antagonist. Everyone influential from the Order's dead anyways.

13. More epic battle like in Bayonetta and God of War, Imagine fighting a boss and several buildings are being blown and other kind of **** happening in the background.

Those games require a lot of QTEs to make that sort of spectacle possible. I don't know if I want that in my DMCs.

DMC is for losers. Just forget it, and enjoy DmC! That dubstep.

Didn't stop Capcom from bringing back the Umbrella Corporation.
