I'm as smooth as a baby since I just shaved =/ I had a smexy stubble though.
Good topic Strelok! And thanks for mentioning me :)
I think a good rule of thumb in making proper arguments would be to not attack the person saying something personally. Even referring to some aspect of their character can already cause issues. I see too much of these rebuttals towards anti people criticising the game. --- To be fair, no one has unlimited patience, and at times this board could come close flustering the Buddha.-geekneck99 |

Its nothing like the Civil War as the South actually had some good reasons for fighting that came along with the bad.

I thought that was on purpose, as in Phantom, Boss of DMC 1 :)
Thanx for the list, hope this helps. |

SinExDeathPosted 4/30/2012 10:52:23 AM (edited) | Found a quote from the recent issue of Gameinformer(issue 229, page 14) that's pretty relevant to Capcom's plans of trying to reach a broader target audience.
At first glance, the logic [of targeting everyone] makes sense. Super mainstream games such as Fruit Ninja, Angry Birds, and Cut the Rope have each sold tens of millions of copies. Attempting to replicate that success is natural. But in reality, if you are making a game for everyone, you are actually making a game for no one. The hit-based mentality takes you away from making a game that has no soul or is fresh. -Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery creator Nathan Vella
You can say God of War 2 sold better than the entire DMC franchise because of it's better yet simple combat, I say GOW2 sold well because it was a popular GOW game. If Capcom keeps on the road it is on[replicating GOW's successful simple combat in DmC], the only thing at the end of that road is a steep cliff.

kentrel7Posted 4/30/2012 11:06:16 AM | Yaknow, i just really dont understand some of you all. Whenever your done nitpicking for reasons this game isnt what you wanted its still a good looking title. you can list athousand reasons why pros or antis are right or wrong but what does it really matter what anyone else thinks? Why keep spiting out the same nonsense time and time again? The simplicity of it is if your going to get the game great, fine, enjoy. if not, who cares? |
