In all the game play footage I've seen I haven't seen him switch styles once, did they make them like in DMC3 where you had to select one before the mission? Or did they just flat out remove them all together? I'll be pretty dissapointed if they just removed them IMO switching styles on the fly in DMC4 was a blast and it really rewarded you for mastering Dante. --- I was going to say the cake is a lie, then I took an arrow to the knee...Then I ate some oranges and everything was k.

"Styles" is just a fancy way of regulating the large arsenal of Dante's abilities and changing what the Circle/B button does.
A lot of moves in Dante's arsenal weren't Style-exclusive to begin (such as Drive, Fireworks, Zodiac, Shock, Rising Dragon & Rain Storm).
Although it matters to some on how the move is executed, what's more important is if the move is available. --- There is no such thing as a "Quick Time Event done right". A game that has Quick Time Events is a "video game done wrong".
