Jill is closing in on her mid thirties around the time of RE5/6 and Revelations, and Lupo, the USS squad leader in Operation Raccoon City, is 38.

I still think it's funny how video game characters are aging alongside me now...

I remember back when Crash Bandicoot and Sonic the Hedgehog never aged.

Yeah, kinda bums me that we don't get enough mature women as protagonists or even main character's love interest.

This is especially bad in JRPGs. I can count with a single handful for the titles that do pit the main protag with a mature woman. It's weird, because I thought the Japs also have this celebrated genre of porn; the 'jukujo'.

Celebrated? Porn?

Well, whatever. This is the culture that seems to be obsessed with looking up school girls' skirts and making all their cartoon "women" look 13.

if capcom follows the traditional Japanese method of no longer allowing aging women to appear in video games when they reach 40 (unless they are immortal, can't age) then expect Ada and Jill to retire soon (check the soul calibur V board and see how many people are upset that their favorite females are being removed from the game because of this)

I don't really like Lupo she looks like she might get on my nerves. Bertha is pretty old too and scary.
