This has probably already been mentioned, but I love a bit of brain storming anyway. :3
This is just speculation and opinion, you really don't have to agree with it ;)

SO, the new E3 trailer has finally revealed Ada will be in the game, and it's looking like she will play an important role.
Watching the trailer, it appears like Ada is working alongside Derek Simmons as part of the newly revealed "Neo-Umbrella" organisation.

However this is where it could get interesting *potential spoilers ahead*

It appears to me when Ada is communicating with Simmons, judging by her reactions and the tone he speaks to her, is that they are not in alliance, but he is threatening her.

My theory is, is that Simmons is trying to frame Ada for these global outbreaks, just as he is trying to frame Leon for the Presidents death.

I'll explain ;

When Ada is first shown in the trailer, she is looking through a file that pictures both Simmons and a woman, with the name "Carla Radames". To me, it looks like Ada is trying to find information on BOTH Simmons and this woman, and when Simmons says "Find anything interesting" he almost sounds as if he is mocking her, which could further backs up these theories.
You may also be aware, back in January someone leaked a character list before any announcements, which has ALL turned out very true.
On that list was the name Carla Radames, but also stated she was "Ada's Clone".

This is where it gets a little complicated.

My theory is that Simmons and "neo-umbrella" have taken this Carla Radames, and have used the C Virus in some unknown way to create an "Ada copy". During Ada's scene in the trailer we see a hand rising from a C virus pod, could this be the completed "Ada clone" Carla Radames?
A point to back up this theory is what Simmons says to Ada,

"You still haven't figured it out, allow me to clarify, tomorrow the US will suffer a bio terrorist attack, after that, China, and then major cities all around the world will suffer the same fate, at the hands, of Neo-Umbrella's very own, Ada Wong.

Now knowing about the leaked "Carla Radames Ada Clone", this line SCREAMS to me that he isn't referring to Ada herself, but he's referring to the clone they have created themselves, their very own Ada Wong, who they are planning to frame Ada with.

These theories however, do open more questions. Who does Ada really work for? Did she work for this "Neo-Umbrella" and was betrayed by Simmons? Why frame Ada?
I think if any of these theories hold truth, we wont find out any of these questions until the game is released as they are REALLY plot heavy.

Good lord, very nice speculations. The plot further thickens. I really can't say much to add but have to agree on essentially everything. That communication between Ada and Simmons did seem to have some sort of tension to it.

On a sidenote: I get the feeling Simmons is related to Wesker for some reason. Maybe it's because of his hairstyle but with all seriousness, the voice has that same, similar tone as Wesker's.

My theory is that Ada is working for another organization and is investigating Neo-Umbrella. By framing her, they would list her as a terrorist and possibly making it harder for her to operate since her name would be way up there in the hunted list for bioterrorism.

Maybe expose her organization as well somehow.

That's something I've been speculating, Ada getting burned on another one of her double agent missions. Or perhaps the Organizion is the one who set her up. I just hope RE6 doesn't sideline the Organization again. I'd really like to see what their endgame is.

I like your theory Mako! His tone of voice really seems to imply that he is taunting Ada and he is certain that his plans will go off in his favor. The question is why target Ada? She may be the best agent for the organization she works in so that is a possible reason, or perhaps she has been snooping around on Simmons and he feels she potentially knows too much and must be eliminated. All speculation, but certainly interesting to think about. Now we just have to wait for the haters to enter this topic and shoot down these harmless speculations while simultaneously insulting out intelligence for think of them lol.

We seem to be drawing the same conclusions! I like your theories. I'd post mine, but yours are basically the same thing! You know what they say about great minds? Big shoes. Wait, no, that's wrong.

This is a really good theory actually.

Perhaps Ada is doing the same as she did with Wesker in 4? "Working" for Neo-Umbrella whilst actually being loyal to "the organisation" to steal the C-Virus.
However unlike Wesker, Simmons caught on, and is planning on framing her, whilst Ada has to both somehow acquire the C-Virus and clear her name?

The only problem I would have with this theory though is it's basically the same role as 4, not very fresh, and I really want to learn more about Ada and who she works for ect.

I'm getting a few different vibes from this Neo Umbrella reveal. First of all, it's not a company. With a name like that it's obvious they want the rest of the world to fear them. They're not some new pharmaceutical corporation that adopted the name Umbrella, thinking that the world would somehow overlook the name and take them seriously. It's more than likely the case that it's a group of extremists (Think Krauser) who picked the name Neo Umbrella, because they want to do to the world what Umbrella did to Raccoon City.

Now, for the more significant vibe I'm feeling: Neo Umbrella isn't real. They're an artificial scapegoat so that Simmons has someone to blame for the things he's doing. For all we know, Neo Umbrella could just consist of a bunch of clones, or modified people--what DID they do with Helena's sister--or J'avo (Gameplay seems to indicate this). Somehow, they're playing out Simmons' plan, whether they're fully aware of what they're doing or just acting as pawns.

As for Ada's involvement...I don't think she has anything to do with Neo Umbrella. This is just speculation, but consider the idea that Ada has actually been working for the government. I mean, some sort of hidden branch that not even Leon knows of. We never know why her organization is collecting viruses and samples--whether it's because they want to take over the world, or if they want to be one step ahead of the badguys. And while she worked with Wesker in RE4, we also know she gave him the old bait-and-switch so that her organization could have the real sample. She has some connection to Simmons, who's apparently been the National Security Adviser for several years, so it's entirely possible she's some kind of government spy.

Simmons is trying to frame Ada by making it look like she's part of Neo Umbrella. Why? Did he decide to pick a fall guy at random and just happen to choose Ada? I find that hard to believe. The other reason for framing would be that she somehow poses a threat to him. Maybe she knows something, or was getting close to exposing him. At this point there's nothing to really go on.

One last thought: Simmons was supposed to be the president's friend for 30 years. What are the chances of the Simmons we see in the trailer being a clone? What if the real Simmons is dead or locked up somewhere, while this obviously evil guy is now calling the shots? That would be too ridiculous...so it's fair game for RE6.
