This game is way too linear. Before anyone mentions past RE games, at least there was a greater sense of side exploration in them...with RE6, you get a convenient inertial compass that magically always points you to where you need to go (like Dead Space).
Jack Nicholson is the only man alive that can make dancing to Prince, scary.

RE5

What about it? It was fairly linear too, but it didn't feel as linear.

EVERY RE GAME IS LINEAR....

there are very FEW chances to go off the beaten track in previous RE games, and when you do it's usually for nothing

Why do people even bring up past RE games? Its no secret that they are objectively superior in every regard compared with this rubbish, so stop drawing parallels between them.

And while each RE game is linear, at least the illusion of depth and exploration existed in each iteration, minus this one. This game doesn't mask the fact that it is an on rail, wannabee pandering mess.
