I just want to know if this is something we can agree on?

I loved Resident Evil 6, I think its very fun. I know many of you did not, and I know many of you also agree with me. Either way, this is just something I feel both sides might agree on... is anyone tired of co-op resident evil?

I mean action, guns, explosions, cheesiness aside... I feel having someone with you is what genuinely takes away from Resident Evil the most nowadays. RE0 I'm ok with because its was still very isolated even with 2 characters, but this... this is literally having a friend with you to make monsters not seem scary. So... yeah, I loved RE6, I thought it was ridiculous, fun, and campy.

Can most of us agree though... a single player RE game would be appreciated?

I enjoyed Hellgate, Deadly Premonition, Phantasy Star Universe, and many other "bad games."

Co-op is unfortunately (or fortunately) the way of the future. No big game is going to be caught without one. Not even Mario anymore.

It just overall feels awkward to me after a while. I miss the feeling of isolation most, like RE6 might truly make you feel desperate and scared if you didn't have a partner with you. I know there are times I ran out of ammo entirely, but my lovely AI assistant more than picked up my slack.

I think we can all agree that Chris is a boy and Sherry is a girl.

I'm just trying to say that I don't feel Co-op is a bad thing, its just like... maybe Leon's campaign could have been solo or something, and Helena was more just a side character that you were chasing after.

I like the idea of multiple campaigns with multiple play styles, and that hopefully this means there will be more of a solo oriented one in the next RE game.

I do miss going solo. One campaign wasn't enough. I find that Co-op and the creepy atmosphere Resident Evil used to have cannot co-exist.

Co-Op is just barely better than Escort missions, but what I'm REALLY sick of is the "need" for online features.

Well the thing is the "desperate" feeling and "horror" feeling is a one trick pony for the first playthrough and on subsequent playthroughs it loses that trick. Which would take down the replayability factor a bit. Co-op on the other hand can make the game last much longer.

Sherry is a woman...
And Chris is the guy who punched the boulder.
