I'm torn between sides on whether to get this game or not. So can anyone tell me is it similar to 5 on the co-op. cuz i really didnt like the co-op in 5 it took away a lot of fun elements of RE for me. Also whether this game is fun solo play, thanks in advance

..it's completely different, the only games out that are like Resident Evil 5 are REVELATIONS, and MERCENARIES 3D

You don't have to worry as much about the partner in RE6 as you did in RE5. They can't die in combat (usually), they never run out of ammo, they don't use the same ammo/supplies as you, and they never miss the QTEs. Of all the things I had issues with in RE6, the partner wasn't one of them.
This game is a lot more scripted than RE5, though, be prepared. --- And this time!

With all the extreme changes to the controls, and the fact that you don't have to worry about your partner makes it feel nothing like 5, even if it is pretty much the same game at it's core.

you still have a coop ai with you regardless, but they cant die as easily any more alleviating a lot of the headache that would happen in 5. They also tend to help you out more than sheva did. --- Currently playing: Final Fantasy 13-2 - Black Ops 2 - Torchlight 2

The AI is still bad, BUT they are invincible and have infinite ammunition, which negates the problem. --- C2 FC: 0562-2516-9316 Idiot definition of the week, Generic: Any game that is in first person and/or involves guns. Use: "Dur, Bioshock is so generic"
