RE6 mercs - standard mode. RE5 reunion - noob mode. RE5 mercs super noob mode

When I played RE5 Mercs as Chris, I shoot Majini face and go melee but he just can't die that easily.

Really? It always gave me headaches when one of those Dual Chainsaw Freaks showed up. Oddly enough the first mercenary mode I enjoyed and actually managed to do anything (besides dying) was the one in Revelations. ^^;

Well and now in RE6. But it seems the opinions about 6 or 5 being easier go a bit apart here as well.

Revelations doesn't have a mercs mode

Yes, I made a mistake and mixed up Revelations and Mercenaries 3D here. Revelations only has the Raid Mode. I like that mode though.

RE6 Mercs are for noobs, because to achieve the "average" score you just need a mere 150 combo (which is simple, really!). Thousands and thousands of people easily achieved 1 mil or higher.

Who can't do this repeatedly? Rinse and repeat...with LOTS of herbs and ammo.

RE5 original Mercs are for pros because to achieve 900K or higher you need to melee every single damn enemies and hold the 3 bosses for as long as possible, thus why only a few achieved that great score. Also, less herbs! Few hundreds in the world from both systems achieved over 900K+, compare this to RE6.

Topic is CLOSED. Original Post (TC) is very mis-informed.

In RE6 1 million is not considered a good score. and In RE5 9000K is considered a good score. so you are just saying getting non good score is easier than getting good score. Your argument does not make sense.

And in RE5 melee guarantees instant kills if you use wesker. But in RE6 melee does not guarantee instant kills. so melee kill is much easier in RE5.
Yes in RE5 reunion you must hold bosses but in RE5 mercs you need not hold bosses.
That is one of the reasons why i say RE5 reunion is harder than RE5 mercs.

In RE5 mercs, enemies drop herbs but in RE6 enemies never drop herbs (except boss).
RE5 is a noob mode, confirmed.

Indeed RE5 mercs is too easy for regular gamers, the game is still enjoyable for noobs. so the game still has its own worth.

I'd like to see the original poster get not only an SS ranking, but at least 500k on prison with BSAA Chris or Clubbin Sheva solo if its so easy.

RE6 mercs is just cheap. Zombies with perfect aiming? What a joke. Rail Yard & High Sea Fortress have rocket launcher cheats that are hard to see & hide. This is hard due to how cheap it is, NOT because its actually hard.

In experimental facility on the other hand, at least the rocket launcher guys don't deliberately hide as much as on these crap levels in RE6. And the counter window for lickers is pretty small, whereas, countering in RE6 is fairly easy.

Another proof RE6 is much harder and RE5 mercs is too easy.

RE6 is something which makes you progress.
RE5 is something which spoils you.
