The only quality that goes toward a "scare factor" in BH/RE6 is its musical score. Especially during the slower portions which unfortunately this game doesn't have many of. --- What I would GIVE to play the Biohazard/Resident Evil Outbreak series online again. Kevin Ryman makes Leon Kennedy look like a whelp.
I didn't find Resident Evil 6 scary at all. It was immersive and maybe tense on the first playthrough on some parts but I wasn't all spooked out by anything within the game. --- PSN - desishinobi XBL - Desi Shinobi

And yet, you LOVE this game.
Too right I LOVE this game, its an amazing Resident Evil experience for me. What? Because I don't find it scary, so it suddenly means its a bad game?
RE was never really scary. RE1-CV and Remake were only scary because I was 7-13 years old when they came out. You look back now and they were never scary to be honest. Remake is still a tense experience but not a scary one.
Who actually plays RE for scarefactor these days? People who prefer the old school style because of the puzzles, backtracking, slow pace, pre-rendered backgrounds, tank controls and mediocre to decent story (IMO), Gore and voilence and ultimately the whole survival concept the game is based on.
Not this "scare factor", it may scare some people still and that's fair enough. But I for one only found it scary because I was young. --- PSN - desishinobi XBL - Desi Shinobi
