how does it compare cause the whole dif storys things is throwing me off. does it feel like a re game or like a re game with stages? i wanna feel like i'm in the re world not just beating a stage.

Your going to get a lot of different opinions.

I felt it was like a RE game but there will be others who say it isn't. Play the demo and judge for yourself.

If RE 4 and 5 felt like a real RE world to you then so will this one. Also yes, it's worth it, but there's no replay value though so after one or two times through the campaign you'll shelve this game unless you plan on playing mercs.

I really miss the old school re games (1-3) and those like them. However, I didn't hate 4 and 5.

If you enjoy Mercs, you'll get a LOT of replay value out of this. And even if there isn't any replay value after the campaign, it shouldn't be too much of an issue considering the campaign in this game is VERY long. At least twice as long as RE5's campaign.

in mercs how many characters is there to choose from? Don't want names just a number lol.

Counting characters only, there are 8 unlockable at this point.

If you count alternate costumes with different loadouts as separate characters then 15.

Then you won't hate this game either unless you don't like all the changes to the controls, which even then shouldn't make you dislike it.

But also twice less fun to replay again. Almost everything and every boss is scripted to the point of boringness.
