I've been watching my wife play the Leon story for what seems like a good amount of hours over the course of the last week or so, to the point where I forgot that there were other stories and thought this was the whole game.
Is it a big game despite its flaws? --- http://i47.tinypic.com/wbdq12.jpg
Yeah pretty big on your first time. Except for Jake, his game is the shortest. I think Leon has the longest one though --- 3DS FC: 4167-5373-4749 PSN: OLKv2 http://www.prowrestling.net/artman/uploads/1/Night_of_Champions_full.jpg
In terms of length, Leon's campaign is the longest (around 8-10 hours for a first playthrough) followed by Chris's (7-8 hours) then Jake's (5-7 hours) and finally Ada's campaign (4-6 hours). In total, a single playthrough of all 4 campaigns could take over 30 hours or so if you take your time . So yes, this game is pretty massive. --- When facing a zombie apocalypse, don't join up with a group. Why? Because you'll end up blowing your own head off due to all the pointless drama caused within.
I actually thought the campaigns were pretty short (4-6 hours each). She must be taking her time exploring for every secret and admiring the scenery if it's taking that long. --- Born Jan. 6, '94 at 3:47 pm Gaming since Jan. 6, '94 at 3:48 pm
Its like a very long railshooter, without the rail and a very VERY little bit of exploration. --- Woman: Does this make me look fat? Al Bundy: It's not the dress that makes you look fat it's the fat that makes you look

There aren't enough "Mercenaries-worthy" maps.
Even the actual maps used in RE6's Mercenaries were heavily modified from the linear, default maps from the campaign.
In RE4 & RE5 the Mercenaries maps used there aren't too far removed from the ones taken from the campaign. --- There is no such thing as a "Quick Time Event done right". A game that has Quick Time Events is a "video game done wrong".
