If anything SquareEnix should strive to develop games of nine's quality, not seven's-CaseyJonez

I believe there's easy, normal, hard, and hell mode. Beating hell mode gets you an infinite rocket launcher for use in the campaign, but unfortunately only as Jill. There are also ammo cases that increase the max amount of ammo you can carry, and some are only found in hell mode.

I see. So in the achievement, "The Vestibule of Hell"- Clear Infernal difficulty, might be hell mode. This game might be a great challenge.

There are 3 difficulty settings: Causal, Normal and Hell. Hell mode makes enemies very strong and even changes puzzles to make them considerably harder (which I thought was awesome). You can beat the game on a lower difficulty and carry over your weapons/gun parts into Hell mode to make it more manageable (which I recommend as starting fresh on Hell mode is f***ing hard lol) and there are several gun parts that you can only find in Hell mode.

When facing a zombie apocalypse, don't join up with a group. Why? Because you'll end up blowing your own head off due to all the pointless drama caused within.

I finished this game yesterday and it was AWESOME! It's actually scary.

I don't think so, at least for campaign. There are times when your partner ditches you and you're alone for a bit.

This game isn't as good as people think. RAID mode, while fun, dies the moment you get level 50 and beat every difficulty.
