Far as I recall anyway.. Is the all the DLC just map packs for Mercs mode or something? Kinda want to buy the game, now that it's much cheaper, but at the same time, I'm in no rush if they are going to make a package out of it once they're done with putting out DLC. --- http://oi47.tinypic.com/ofbvav.jpg

there has been no announcement from Capcom of any form about a Gold edition / RE6 with DLC bundle.

Okay, so what about the DLC, is it all just extra stuff for Merc mode? --- http://oi47.tinypic.com/ofbvav.jpg

You will have to wait 1 year after RE6's release. When I saw the amount of DLC Saint Row 3 had, I decided to wait and its was worth it.

So far the only DLC for RE6 PS3 is Mercs mode maps. Xbox has 3 extra modes called Onslaught, Predator & Versus, but these are currently on a timed exclusive and no announcement has been made on a PS3 release date yet.
As for story DLC there has been no confirmed reports of anything so far.

^Yeah and thq went bankrupt - couldn't happen to a more deserving company.
they made you pay with real money to get weapon variety in the game, a new low. i did not spend a dollar on DLC just on principle. then they took the planned DLC and decide "hey, we can release this as a full game and charge 60$ for a few months work". but the joke was on them: they needed the moeny from the DLC to..you know...pay people and delaying the DLC 6 months meant THQ went under.
money grubbing a-holes got what they deserved. SR3 was the game that ruined the franchise anyways, so it all worked out with a nice bow on top.

So it's worth just buying it now? (I can only get it off the PSN anyway) or is there a chance the PSN price will be reduced? --- http://oi47.tinypic.com/ofbvav.jpg

there is always a chance of a price reduction, but since the UK price has dropped from £49.99 to £29.99 in the last month any significant price drop will most likely be a long way away. Im assuming a similar price drop has been made in the US store and other regions.
