Why didn't Capcom use creepy music in RE6?

the only creepy music in RE6 = leon first campaign...upto finding Liz...and somewhere here and there in sewer.

Didn't RE4 have lots of those moments and music?

Resident Evil (Remake) 'n' Haunting Ground are two of the best games ever made by Capcom.

No way, don't you know it's cool to think that RE4 was dog piss in every way?

Always dreaded doing the village at night just because I've always found it scary, especially with that playing in the BG.

The Lepo theme creeps me out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTs0g-4cY_4

Unless by "creepy" you simply mean "ambient," in which case there is little in RE6. There's a few tracks during Leon's campus sections that are eerie, but the rest of the game is too action-packed to really utilize this style of music.

Creepy is a subjective experience to each person.

Wat. That's why everyone lines up to get a face full whenever it's mentioned? Here, take some ammo lol

I usually remedy this by using custom soundtrack with the RE soundtracks when replaying through RE6 campaign

I have the soundtracks for:

- RE0
- RE2 (both versions)
- RE3
- RECV
- RE5
- RE Orchestral OST
- RE Remix
- REOutbreak
- REOutbreak 1

Usually mix it together and play through and it changes the tone of the game just like that, well for me at least.

Using creepy music in a game that's 90% action kinda flies in the face of logic.
I do think that the soundtrack, while not reaching the heights of previous titles, suited it quite well though. Like SolidStryder said, the track that plays during Jake 2/5 is great, extremely well suited to 5 in particular. Just a shame it stops after the first battery!

Reminds me a bit of the old music, and also MGS to some degree.
