Sherry is actually brain dead in onslaught. Tired of everyone running to her when I try to play that mode.

I sort of agree with this list, but there are some inaccuracies. I don't think Ada should be at the bottom. She's pretty efficient on J'avo stages, and the only zombie stage she sort of struggles on is UC. She dominates catacombs and MtD.

I geniunely love these topics. A lot of what makes tiers are certainly based on common indisputable facts, but there are certain nuances that make these debates really kind of fun, and it's really hard to put aside your 'personal favorites' and look at the hard facts.

Intellectually, I know Jake would be 'top tier'- but if we are using the criteria of 'can dominate any stage with ease', with a focus on high score (so using counters consistently, holding a boss, ability to kill bosses quickly, save a combo, etc) then Jake wins until you get to MtD, and to a smaller degree TC. So if the criteria is that they need to be able to rock it on any stage, I'd really change Jake's S rank to A. He can not OHKO grab zombies consistently and in most cases the counter will fail because his elbow puts him in the enemies hitbox, meaning you have a fraction of a fraction of a second to input it without being grabbed. This becomes especially difficult at the later stage of the game (104-114) unless Jake is babysitting the Lepo as all of the jumping zombies at this point will do only grab attacks with very fast attack animation- This is a bit easier to handle in MtD since most of the zombies can be 'shot and countered' in the torso to avoid stun but in TC, almost all of the zombies towards the end have chain mail on, requiring a lot of extra time and effort to be effective. (His pros are really well known, this is just more points for debate on cons)

I'd also challenge Chris1's rank- yes, he has a phenomenal easy to kill loadout. The knife is awesome, the magnum is a great combo saver- but the fact that he starts with ZERO health is a bit of a detriment. forcing you to focus on health collection or having to leave in the thick of battle, especially as the combo goes 100+ and enemy grabs/attacks can do 2-3 bars of damage. This can be especially brutal in TC if you are countering lantern zombies. Even with 2 FAS and the herb supply (1 R, 2 G), countering even 10 lantern zombies means you have to play very close to a near perfect game for the match.

I can't comment on either of the Sherry's I again know intellectually that they are both great- but I honestly have a lot of trouble with them.

I'm wondering how Chris2 is put as A instead of an S. For zombie maps- his shoulder counter can OHKO both grabs and punches without PC (and by having the ease of a handgun equipped instead of a magnum- makes it easier when you want to torso shoot a 'hands out' or 'hands up' zombie- you can't do that with Chris1's magnum or grenade lol. He starts with decent health (6 tablets) and has the ultimate combo saver and boss destroyer with the Rocket Launcher) he is the only character that can OHK an orgroman, the shotgun is good for bosses and he has the standard Chris melee attacks (his CdG load time makes the grenade trick especially easy) for J'avo. I'm not as experienced, but 3-4 shots with the hand gun makes a javo easy to counter, he can do the CdG set ups with ease (including the back punch). I guess he doesn't have the same versatility Jake does in terms of using Melee on the moth javo or, able to melee the bomb javo without taking damage.

- Ammo Box 50 is considered to be the worst weapon in the game. Not only does it chew through ammo faster than a Whooper at BURGER KING, ^^

Fixed.

Also a bit confused on why Agent is ranking higher than Leon- they are pretty much the same except Agent's FAS. (Though Leon starts with more health). The shotgun trumps the rifle IMO and Leon's melee attacks are quicker, especially the CdG. They both start with plenty remote bombs which is situational.

Why is Leon EX at top tier ?
In case you are forgetting he doesn't have a decent boss killer weapon, his MG is powerful but it's gonna to be very tough against Napads, Ogreman, Raskspanje, Ubivisto. He isn't that good, a Bad version of Carla. 2nd tier at best.

It's actually game mechanics that speak to the abilities of the characters. Jake has a higher probabiliy of being grabbed based on his counter animation not ducking low enough- and the bigger point that you seemed to gloss over is that it does NOT ohko grabbing zombies with consistency.

Same w Chris- the topic is 'tiering'- which means the characters natural abilities to succeed. It's expected that you will take damage during the course of match.

I'm actually curious about this too- I actually do like this Leon, but haven't played with him all that often. I know his MG is powerful, but I recall he has pretty minimal starting health and his rifle is negligible. His nitro rounds do come in handy against Napads, but agreed it's not anywhere as versatile or effective as Carlas
