After hearing a few times that "Combo Time" AFTER a 10 Combo, REDUCES Max Score, I finally decided to test it for myself when I read it earlier today. I always thought some people were just being silly or something because the way I figured it- why add something that could possibly reduce your score in a Mercs Map? However, after doing 6 different runs, 3 different strategies. It's proven true that hitting a "Combo Time after 10 Combo Reduces Max Score". Here's what I did.
Urban Chaos Solo:
+20 Combo WITHOUT using a Combo Time Crystal. Score- 20540
+20 Combo WITH a Combo Time Crystal used BEFORE a 10 Combo (+4 Enemies killed During Combo Time). Score- 23800
+20 Combo WITH a Combo Time Crystal used AFTER a 10 Combo (+4 Enemies killed During Combo Time). Score- 20540
If anyone is still in doubt, I'll even record it.

^ It's most likely a glitch that Capcom never bothered to correct, the Combo Bonus crystals should be programmed to add 1,000 points per kill on top of what you get for killing an enemy during a combo and instead, it just gives you a 1,000 points per kill without adding to the enemy kill bonus during a combo which after a 10 streak combo, actually hurts your overall score. If they were using the Combo Bonus system like in RE 4 and 5 Mercs, you could easily get over 200,000 extra points if you switch to explosives and gunfire, and it's a real shame that the current combo bonus system is so broken.
When facing a zombie apocalypse, don't join up with a group. Why? Because you'll end up blowing your own head off due to all the pointless drama caused within.
