REmake is the best RE ever made in my opinion and it's quite possibly the BEST video game Remake ever made, which is a hell of a accomplishment. (Mega Man Maverick Hunter X gets an honorable mention too.)

Original RE1, legendary very first survival horror game for me. Technically REmake is better and more scarier but nostalgia wins here.

I think Remake, 2, Code V, 4, and Outbreak are all amazing games. If they model future games after any of those, I'd be happy.
