Do you think Capcom is canceling future dlc?

Just give us some more merc/extra mode characters and I'll be happy.

If they do cancel all future DLC it'd be nice if they came out with a statement saying so.

I sincerely hope not though I can see them doing it. We got our new game modes, which I guess are the equivalent of 5's Mercenaries reunion, but we need out version of Desperate Escape and Lost in Nightmares.

I 2nd this x1000...We need some more alternate costumes and bonus campaigns.

Do you think Capcom is canceling future DLC since five million sold is considered a "failure" to them?

and risk upsetting around 4.7M customers ??

Far from it:

According to residentevil.net, out of the 4.8 shipped copies (PS3 + 360), only little more than 3 million people have played the game online at least once, out of which it's quite likely a significant number is no longer even playing the game by now:

As for DLC players, recent participation for DLC events has been "abysmal":

PS3 (+175,000 registered users)

360 (+95,000 registered users)

Reasons why dlc isn't working,

a. The core fans don't play/care RE for that.
b. Those dlc should have been in the game from start not additional PAY and GET content.
c. Capcom's history with DLC.

The dlc was upsetting since it just utilized what was already in the game. The "new" maps are just based off environments we visit in the campaign. The "new" multiplayer modes just use mercenaries assets but have a different goal. If capcom isn't going to invest the resources into a new campaign dlc, it would be nice to get new mercenaries characters and costumes.
