My personal opinion is the Sixth Generation mainly because I think REmake and RE Code Veronica are two of the best in the series, also I think it had the most variety out of all of the generations. I think Capcom was in it's prime back then.

What do you guys think?

I went with 6th because REmake is my favorite, but I enjoy all the RE games.

6th Generation is the only correct answer. The best of the old games (REmake) and the best of the new ones (RE4).

If people say anything other than 5th generation or 6th generation then they're either idiots, or weren't around/born for one of the greatest times to be playing video games in general.

5th generation offered an experience that you'll never get from any other game in this generation. You were challenged in both difficulty and learning curve in something that's not just a 1st/3rd person shooter which any idiot company could make. Capcom did a great job getting people out of their comfort zone to force them to survive a unique game like RE1. Easy mode kinda killed RE2 and RE3 and a lot of people don't like to admit that they played through those games with that difficulty first.

And Outbreak online? I feel sorry for anyone who wasn't around for week 1 of that game.

Oh the Saturn's good and all (definitely the best versions of Earthworm Jim 2 and Resident Evil 1 (not including Remake)), but it doesn't have nearly as many games I like as the Genesis did.

And why the hell were there so few platformers for the Dreamcast?
