i have the brightness in game all the way up and my tv at default settings and its fine.

I found the demo to be even darker than the actual game, I had the brightness upto max but I even had to turn the brightness up on my TV too. I know they were trying to create a scary atmosphere but they went overboard.

Yes, yes it is. Turning up the brightness won't help because Crapcom purposely darkens the area around the character in certain sections of the game. It's like having a little spot light on top of the character in a dark room.

On the contrary, this game is easily one of the more campy entries in the series. If not, the campiest one.

I just got the game recently and this is one of my biggest complaints.
Even with the brightness all the way up I can barely see anything half the time. They really went overboard.
It's one thing to make the game darker for atmosphere but it's to the point where I can't see where I'm going and it makes it very hard to see what's attacking you in certain areas. It comes off as a lot more irritating then scary.
