With all the news after the reception of RE6, the director making statements about "going back to roots" learning from mistakes etc. Revelations port coming. Next gen coming.

Is the campaign DLC people talked about before (Claire rumors), pretty much never going to happen? It's a shame. I would've like story DLC for RE6's gameplay. RE5 had good pieces too. Got burnt out on Mercs and MP modes.. =(

You would get better answers from Capcom's staff asking these questions at Capcom Unity boards than asking here.

But what else can really be added when you think about it? You can't really add another character arc because nearly everyone involved in RE6 has been covered or concluded. And before the Claire and Jill nuts come out of the wood work, no, you can't add them either. Putting them in would feel contrived because there is really no way to add them into the terrible plot of RE6.

They can actually. Just make them go after Alex Wesker who can be taking advantage of the situation, and taking samples of the C-virus. Make it end with a plot that could lead to another game, then ta-dah, it's a story that fits.

Not that I'm saying there'd be one or even want that of course.

Actually story DLC is questionable. Capcom is going to be pushing for more DLC now due to their net losses. Whether or not RE6 will be included in this is the questionable part.

I'm more surprised they haven't released any story DLC, you'd think we would have had at least two story DLC packs on our discs since launch, but I guess not.

True, but why do that when they could just take the Merc maps and sell them two at a time? lol

Ooooooh, Capcom.

Remember that RE 5 did not get any story DLC until about 11 months after it's release, which means that RE 6 probably won't get any until around Sept. or Oct. 2013 if Capcom is planning to release any story DLC that is.

This is what I was thinking, but they'd have to have been working on it already though.
