this depend, I pick the first choice if the game are only 2 characters to choose, like RE1 and RE2

but in a game like RE 6, when you can play with different characters, the third choice is the best

I like how they did it in Dead Space 3, where you're solo at all times until a second player joins in.
The story and puzzles are then readjusted to accommodate having a second player tag along.

That really fixed the "A.I. partner satellite" issue.

There is no such thing as a "Quick Time Event done right".
A game that has Quick Time Events is a "video game done wrong".

This is opposed to RE5 and 6 where you can't revisit places after you've finished even chapter subsections.

You know, the same thing occurs in The Last Of Us.
It's strictly point A to point B with one wave of enemies after another.

Weird when some people say that "Capcom should learn from Naughty Dog" when The Last Of Us borrows a lot from RE6, down to the item drops and head-smashing stomp melee.

Lol The Last Of Us has almost nothing in common with RE6 and yeah Capcom should definitely take notes from Naughty Dog. I hope that game sells millions.

A lot, actually.

For example, random item drops from enemies (even getting a ready-made bombs or Molotov cocktails from killed infected).

There are also cover-shootouts with armed enemies.
I thought shootouts are not allowed in "survival horror"?

The Last Of Us also seems to be heavy with the linear, "take out all enemies to proceed" gameplay, which is a lot worse than in the latter RE games.

The Last Of Us also has this bad habit of spawning three more enemies when you've nearly killed everyone or when you're nearing the exit.
