I'm not saying that a MERCS standalone on console would reinvigorate a now stale franchise. However, would you be open to one if Capcom made an announcement at this past E3? I don't see anything wrong with adding every viable character from the RE-universe into a MERCS title. Do you?

unless it's 20 bucks dlc title, I doubt I would actually pay for it.
$39.99 for 50+ characters, 20+ Maps, 100+ Weapons + possible DLC: outfits/stages/weapons. You wouldn't pay for that? ---if it was actually a game?
id rather have a new game in the story then a stand alonr mercs game. god forbid you dont have a super high score you get kicked or people wont join your games. even now when i host playing for fun, they come in and see a score they dont like and leave.
people take mecs to serious and have really ruined it. RE6 mercs i stopped playing after a few months. got sick of babies quitting when a combo drops or kicking for no reason.
mercs stand alone game = ill pass
New RE game that includes mercs like 3,4,5 & 6 did is perfectly fine.
I didn't mean it like that. >.<; I actually love the plots of the earlier games, and Resident Evil 4's campaign was epic as ****, although the story was a bit..out there. <.<
I feel 6 had the worst as far as plots go.
I just mean I don't really play today's Resident Evil games for the story anymore, it's all basically mindless action to me, and that's what a I expect honestly..and I feel Mercenaries is a better alternative than playing through the campaigns, since it's essentially the same, but without the crappy story involved.
- Implement a non-timed mode. - Have customization of select characters (such as default costumes only) - Add an objectives mode. - Have no DLC for the game....it being robust already. - Add a ton of Unlockables (Videos, Artwork, offline cheats and bonus modes-----> shooting gallery etc.)
Then I'm all for it.
