What direction (story wise) do you think the next game will go in?

Why would they keep getting bigger?

Well just compare it to the previous games.

RE1, 2, 3: Mansion gets destroyed shortly thereafter a city nearby gets infected and later destroyed to contain the outbreak.

RE4: not to the scale of the first three but an entire village gets wiped out.

RE5: an entire region in Africa gets wiped out.

RE6: An American town and a Chinese city get destroyed within a week with close to, if not more, a million lives lost and not 6 monthes before there was a civil war in a country where bioweapons were involved.

That would mean that RE7 (if there is one) will either be another contained incident or do something to top what RE6 did but it will most likely be a contained incident with RE8 (again if the series lasts that long) being the one to top RE6.

2 and 3 are the Raccoon City Incident. 1's the Arklay Mountains incident.

you also left out CV which was just an island and a place in the artic as well as 0 which returned to mansion-size.

RE5: an entire region in Africa gets wiped out.

How big was that region?

RE6: An American town and a Chinese city get destroyed within a week with close to, if not more, a million lives lost and not 6 monthes before there was a civil war in a country where bioweapons were involved.

Yeah, WAY too big.

My fangame would have a town (Sharktown) and a large blimpish aircraft thingy that it takes place on.

In order of major events my sentence describes the three games rather perfectly.

and I didn't forget them I only counted the main numbered games but yeah I did forget about 0 but that's probably because I never played it

How big was that region?

iirc it expands a town, a tribal village, an oil field, and a ruin that another tribe lives in (or the same one).

The tribe that lives in the ruins is the ones protecting the Stairway to the Sunflower (which Progenitor comes from).

5 felt like an ending to me.
