One thing I hate most about RE6 is the J'avo.

When I shoot them in the head I expect them to die right then and there not run around like a chicken with its head blown off by a 12-guage shotgun!

and the fact that they have to "regenerate" any lost limb with a mutation of it is even more annoying.

Seriously just ****ing die when I shoot you at point blank range. The ganado and majini were never this annoying.

To be fair, critical headshots didn't drop all Majini and Ganados either if a plaga came out to ruin the day.

My only gripe with J'avo (and RE6) in general is that the flashbang grenades are now underutilized against mutations. Some players might agree the OKHO feature from flashbangs in previous iterations might seem 'cheap' however I still wish some monsters had a weakness to certain items. That's what made using certain tactics pretty fun and strategic.


In this game it seems that the only effective thing that works is by blowing everything away and using counters. No need to use priority effect based weapons when you have a magnum that ends any grunt in a few hits.

I know but they didn't keep sprouting extra limbs every time you blew one off.

^ That's why usually the strategy for that is to aim to an uninfected area next however I will admit this game does get mighty ridiculous when you keep blowing off limbs and more mutations.

this, I liked the idea behind the javo, if a shot to the head killed them and they had no mutations, they might as well have beem human enemies.

I think J'avo are one of the worst RE enemies. They had seriously potential to be really cool and threatening with the mutations they could do but they turned out to be a joke.

I think the ganados were worse but thats because their ai was bad.

I think the ganados were worse but thats because their ai was bad.

The ones who blew themselves up with dynamite while not even bothering to toss the TNT away when you were 10 feet distant from them surely created some laugh worthy moments on my playthroughs especially when they ran into a crowd of their own men with lit dynamite on the underground mining level.

RE4's AI. . . was not the brightest at all times.
