I don't get it. He must be more popular since hes in everything. Am i the only one who thinks he needs to go away? They need to get the original team together for an adventure. Wheres Rebecca been anyways? I wanna see her in another game.

Cause he has an emo haircut. It makes him instantly popular in Japan.

Personally, I think they need to get new characters.

People have different tastes and preference?

I find it dumb how people are so closed-minded they think someone liking a different character more than a character they like somehow invalidates them or all people who like a certain character are the same.

I guess it's because Leon's is more of a casual character. Even when fighting the murderous hordes he'll crack off silly one liners ("Your right hand comes off?"), purposefully troll the bad guys, and joke about Ashley's butt. Chris is more the traditional, no-nonsense hero, which probably gets him written off as being less interesting.

Resident Evil 4 is regarded as the best one by the majority and reached everybody- it was in the Gamecube, PS2, Wii and now 360 and PS3.

They tried to do the same with RE5, which failed. It only reached 360 and PS3 players, the story was too loosely tied to RE4 (only mentioning the Kennedy report and the plagas) and the whole team system sucked if you were playing solo.

Leon is not your macho-muscle man who talks with his fists. That appeals more to the masses who want a little more outspoken personality from their protagonists.

In my humble opinion of course.
