I dont get why people dont consider RE survival horror no more...

I mean I still see it as survival horror
though the older had more of a
psychological horror aspect to it. Static
angles not letting you see around that
corner, JUST ENOUGH ammo to get by
(more on that), and the characters were alot
more frail, and plus Zombehs! But as the
series progresses I think making it more
actiony did the series justice. You have to
realize most chars have some kind of
military-like training and its much needed
espically as the enemies become deadlier.
With the current enemies you're seeing,
more ammo is needed, plus they're fighting
bio-TERRORISM...not some unstoppable
hellspawn from a movie. As far as partners
vs isolation goes, it makes it more realistic
seeing as no one could survive that alone.
As a former soldier in Iraq, I can say the
situations we faced can be considered
survival horror in itself and this still has that
vibe. A few trained survivors/personnel vs a
worldwide evil...just stop with the boulder
punches C(r)apcom :)

i look at it this way. what does the W in B.O.W. stand for? weapon. now do you really think slow moving zombies would make a good weapon? they evolved the virus to create better and more deadlier weapons. thats all there is to it. I don't see why people have a problem with this. If you don't like the story anymore, fine. but don't act like capcom is doing something wrong because you don't like the way the story is going. Its their game and their story. live with it or jump ship to another series. I guarantee you they wont be effected by the minimal amount of people that do.

The last game that had any shred of horror was 4. The series has been survival action since 5.

No, it's action horror. There is no survival to be had. That's what all the limited resources were about. It can still be considered horror, although RE5 wasn't at all scary. RE6 appears to changing that though.

Using your little adventures in Iraq doesn't help the argument at all.

RE5 =/= Survival Horror.

RE6 to have 2 player co-op offline and 6 player co-op online

Co-op =/= Survival Horror.
