I think it has a tiny bit of content that relates to 6, its been out for some time though, pretty good movie imo I liked it.

Well the last one acted as a sort of prequel to RE5. So I would assume this one does the same for 6.

If you believe the theory regarding one of the characters in the move, it directly relates to RE6.

If not it will still relate just not as much

it brings in tri-cell at the end of the movie. not a big thing but it's there to place degeneration in the canon story.
