I was just researching that. I checked the wiki and it says Deceased. But this is Capcom we're talking about here. There's NO way to tell. --- "If Ubisoft and Angelsoft merged companies you'd get a free roll of toilet paper with every new Tom Clancy game" -Me

Given the data we've got (which is just the game, really), he stayed behind in the underwater facility, which preceded to explode. I consider that a death. --- "It is only [in La Mulana] that we entrust our fate." -Japanese indie developer NIGORO on their love of the art.

I really started to like Piers by the middle of the campaign.
I rather hope he comes back. Either as a villain or otherwise. --- The world is cruel. And the only morality in a cruel world...is chance. Unbiased. Unprejudiced. Fair.

MAJOR SPOILERS Yes, Piers is dead. Sometime toward the end of the game he is pierced by the final boss of the campaign and then has a door slammed on his arm, essentially destroying his arm. Chris is then caught by the boss (bow) and in order to save him, Piers fully rips his arm from his body and uses a C-virus-filled syringe to save Chris. --- GT: Shadowlinkex
