I'm enjoying it so far. I'm not a "Fanboy", but I have been playing them since RE 1. I've been playing the Leon campaign, and so far, it's fun. The QTE's get a little old, but overall, a decent game. No GOTY material though
Solid, fun game, definetly not the best in it's genre and doesnt do anything new. But if you like resident evil and 3rd person shooters in general its a worthy game. --- Go beyond the impossible and kick reason to the curb!
Thanks guys those are the answers i was looking for. How much better or worse in your opinion is this from Res 5? --- An intelligent person does not need the promise of Heaven to see merit in a good deed. http://www.twitch.tv/bortron_buttsekks
Positives: Graphics Story Skill Points Mercenaries Mode unlocked at start 4 campaigns all 5-10 hours in length a piece.
Camera QTE (altho I havent had one in Chris's campaign and finished chapter 2) --- Use an authenticator. No excuses. You get hacked, your fault. Authenticator. Get it. Use it. Love it. Massage it. Feel it. hold it. Type it. Use it. insert it.
The game is entertaining. The controls take a little bit of time getting used to but overall it's a fun game to play. Main flaw would have to be the camera angles in some situations but other than that, the characters are interesting to watch, the gameplay is similar to Gears of War. There's 4 campaigns which each take about 5 hours (or longer) depending on how you play. It definitely doesn't deserve the 4's i've been hearing.
