Overhyped games always get game of the year.

The resident evil name is hexed now. It could be a flawless game and get hated on.

Call of duty, borderlands and so on.

Definitely a great game from what I played(Finished Leon's story). That alone could've been the entire game and I may have been satisfied.

Probably not game of the year though. Maybe in my personal top 5 of the year though.
