Mercenaries Costumes question

I noticed u can unlock their costumes at the website, if you do that, does it count towards the all costumes achievement and so on?

Anyone? im having trouble getting A rank with 2 characters and would rather unlock them from website

I think the costumes from RE.net are there just for the fun of unlocking stuff, but I could be wrong.

Hmm could be, but i think it has some ingame impact aswell

Oddly enough, they were the easiest ones to get an A with, for me at least.

Pierce and Ada were easily my hardest. Helena was pretty hard too, but I did her with a very good friend. All three of them suffer because their guns are not reliable headshot staggers, so they can't pop+melee everything, and they burn through pistol ammo like whoa.
