Easiest way to get through Pro - All campaigns

#112ehstevePosted 11/13/2012 7:28:35 AM
I'm looking to just get Pro under my belt and out of the way pretty quick. So what's the best way to do this? I've completed all campaigns with both characters so I have all weapons for everyone. I also have numerous skills, and if I don't have one I want, there's Mercs for that.

So, what's the best combos for getting through Pro quickly:

Campaign:
Recommended character: (either for less QTEs, easier, weapons, etc)
Recommended skills:
Recommended play style: (weapons to use, just run, etc.)

I don't care too much for what rank I get as a friend is getting this for Christmas and we're going to Pro run it with no infinite ammo and no New Game+

character: any character except piers because doing the last battle with him is a pain
skills: unlimited magnum/grenade launcher
how to play: it doesnt matter its not hard and most of the time if you die you dont lose that much progress anyway

also if you die you come back with full health so sometimes it helps to die

So it'd be better to just die and save health tablets for boss battles or long stretches between checkpoints?

Also, what skills are best with the unlimited ones?

i'd say so.

i always just use defense 3 and firearm 3 but those are probably not the best for maxing out your abilities. i'm sure someone that cares a lot more would know better

Seriously?

No one mentioned Breakout?

Have fun breaking controllers on Pro...

Use "last shot" for Ada's Crossbow. Trust me.

I did this:

Skills:

Firearm Level 3
Defense Level 3
Field Medic Level 2

I swap out Field Medic for Zombie Hunter/J'avo Massacre in Ada's campaign.

Easiest Characters:

Helena (She doesn't face nearly as many enemies as Leon.)

Sherry or Jake (both have parts that are equally annoying, such as Sherry's stealth section or Jake's motorcycle section. Pick your poison, it's basically the same either way.)

Piers until Ch. 5, then Chris. The final boss as Piers is a MAJOR pain in the ass.

With these skills, Professional is practically a cake walk.

they arent hard

uh-huh...

Tried mashing A on Simmons yet?

Besides, the difference is huge enough to warrant a mention for anyone looking for an easier time, like TC.
