How do I start a new game?

My only options are continue and chapter select. When I choose a chapter it still gives me all the weapons and ammo I found on my previous run. I just want to start a fresh new game and find all the ammo and weapons again on No Hope.

Why do I not see this option?

you have to finish your current game before you can start a new one i think

go to chapter select, pick final chapter and beat it, continue option will change to new game. pick new game and will ask you if you want to start new game with previous weapons or not.
